Make delicious Sambar Noodles using the receipe given below
Ingredients
- Instant Noodles - 200g (eg : Maggie, Top Ramen, Sunfeast Yippee etc)
- Onion - 2 medium sized - finely cut
- Potato - 1 medium sized - finely cut
- Tomatoes - 3 medium sized - finely cut
- Green Chillies - 2 - finely cut
- Mustard - 1/2 tea spoon
- Asafoetida - pinch
- Turmeric - pinch
- Coriander Leaves - finely cut
- Balali's Vishalam Sambar Powder - 20g (2 tea spoons)
- Balali's Vishalam Rasam Powder - 10g (1 tea spoon)
How to Prepare
- Use a couple of spoons of edible oil in the water you are going to boil the noodles
- Boil the noodles, as you usually do, as given in the noodle pack
- Strain the noodles, and keep aside
- Saute mustard, asafoetida, turmeric and green chillies in 2 spoons of oil
- Add the onions and saute
- After onions turn pink, add potatoes and saute for a few minutes and close the lid of pan
- Add tomatoes and saute - close the lid for a couple of more minutes till all the vegetables get cooked well
- Add noodles masala (given in the noodle pack), and Balali's Vishalam Sambar Powder and Balali's Vishalam Rasam Powder, Salt as required - and mix well
- Add little water, close the lid and allow to cook for a couple of more minutes
- Add the boiled noodles, keeping the stove in sim, mix well for the noodles and vegetables and masala to blend well.
- Garnish with coriander leaves, and close the lid for a few minutes
- Serve Hot, and enjoy the Sambar Noodles.
