Make delicious Sambar Noodles using the receipe given below


  • Instant Noodles - 200g (eg : Maggie, Top Ramen, Sunfeast Yippee etc)
  • Onion - 2 medium sized - finely cut
  • Potato - 1 medium sized - finely cut
  • Tomatoes - 3 medium sized - finely cut
  • Green Chillies - 2 - finely cut
  • Mustard - 1/2 tea spoon
  • Asafoetida - pinch
  • Turmeric - pinch
  • Coriander Leaves - finely cut
  • Balali's Vishalam Sambar Powder - 20g (2 tea spoons)
  • Balali's Vishalam Rasam Powder - 10g (1 tea spoon)

How to Prepare

  • Use a couple of spoons of edible oil in the water you are going to boil the noodles
  • Boil the noodles, as you usually do, as given in the noodle pack
  • Strain the noodles, and keep aside
  • Saute mustard, asafoetida, turmeric and green chillies in 2 spoons of oil
  • Add the onions and saute
  • After onions turn pink, add potatoes and saute for a few minutes and close the lid of pan
  • Add tomatoes and saute - close the lid for a couple of more minutes till all the vegetables get cooked well
  • Add noodles masala (given in the noodle pack), and Balali's Vishalam Sambar Powder and Balali's Vishalam Rasam Powder, Salt as required - and mix well
  • Add little water, close the lid and allow to cook for a couple of more minutes
  • Add the boiled noodles, keeping the stove in sim, mix well for the noodles and vegetables and masala to blend well.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves, and close the lid for a few minutes
  • Serve Hot, and enjoy the Sambar Noodles.
