Description

Keeping up with your fast paced lifestyle, we have made this pre-mix that you can use for instantly preparing our traditional Rava Upma, in minutes.  We have added all the right ingredients in the right proportion - you need not add anything else, other than water.  

Rava, Sunflower Oil, Bengal Gram, Urad Dal, Green Chilli, Salt, Mustard, Curry Leaves, Ginger, Asafoetida

Method 1 (Serves 2)

  • Heat 4 portions of water and bring it to full boil with lots of bubbles.
  • Add 1 portion of Balali's Vishalam Instant Rava Upma Mix
  • Stir well until the mix is well cooked - 3 to 4 minutes
  • You can use fresh coriander leaves to garnish, if required.

Method 2 (Microwave) (Serves 2)

  • Stove Heat 3 portions of water and bring it to full boil with lots of bubbles.
  • Add 1 portion of Balali's Vishalam Instant Rava Upma Mix in a microwave bowl and stir well.
  • Keep aside the mixture for 2 minutes with closed lid.
  • Keep the bowl in Microwave for 3 to 4 minutes (as per the capacity of your microwave), or until cooked. 
  • Keep checking if the microwave has cooked our mixture by periodically taking out and mixing well.
  • You can use fresh coriander leaves to garnish, if required.

Method 3 (Serves 2)

  • Take 1 cup of onions and other vegetables like potato, carrot, peas, beans etc and saute them in 2 spoons of oil and cook well.
  • Once cooked, add 5 portions of water and bring it to full boil with lots of bubbles.
  • Add 1 portion of Balali's Vishalam Instant Rava Upma Mix
  • Stir well until the mix is well cooked - 5 to 6 minutes. Add additional salt to taste for the added vegetables
  • You can use fresh coriander leaves to garnish, if required.
