Thippili, known as Long Pepper (Piper Longum), has amazing health benefits and medicinal uses.
It is also known as "Arisi Thippilli" in Tamil.
Long pepper is very similar to our the regular Black Pepper, but more spicier than it. It can be used as a substitute for our regular pepper in any recipe. Thippili also occupies an important place in Ayurveda and we use it extensively as a home remedy.
Indian Long Pepper, or Pippali, or Kanda Thippili (Long Pepper Root) is a powerful stimulant for both the digestive and the respiratory systems and has been shown to have a rejuvenating effect on the lungs.
